You shall not sell any image without modification or edition considered as your own creation.

You shall not upload or submit other creators’ images downloaded from EyeCandid to a similar service.

You do not have to pay for using EyeCandid images.

You can use any of the EyeCandid images for Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, Weibo, and other SNS without permission.

Once you download an image, you can copy, modify, distribute, and use the image, even for commercial purposes, all without asking permission from or providing credit to the artist or EyeCandid. However, depicted content may still be protected by trademarks, publicity, portrait, property, or privacy rights.

Only upload .jpg, .jpeg or .png format files

Minimum size available for upload is 3000 pixels at the longer dimension

Maximum size available for upload is 8000 pixels at the longer dimension up to 40MB .

You need to add at least 3 tags for each image to submit them. EyeCandid has an automatic tagging system that provides basic tags by AI detecting the subject in your images. If our AI creates less than 3 tags for an image, please add more tags to fulfill the conditions to complete the submission.

We encourage you to add tags manually or correct the provided ones to increase the discoverability of your images on the website search results.

If you’ve just uploaded your images, please give our curators some time to review. It may take 1~7 business days.

Or, our curators review all the submitted images under our Quality Control Guidelines. Your images may not meet the conditions of our QC standards and be not approved for publication. For example, we do not accept the images that have any kinds of text on them such as credit, a photographer’s name, a shooting date, a filter name, or a model name of the camera or mobile phone, or the images that have already been uploaded to EyeCandid. Please have a look at the “EyeCandid Quality Control Guidelines” before you upload images

The images that you upload or sell may be of use for a purpose such as editorial or commercial usage. However, EyeCandid prohibits any unlawful, defamatory, libelous, objectionable, profane, indecent, pornographic, harassing, threatening, hateful, or otherwise inappropriate use of the image. For more information, please read the Terms of Service.

Once you upload your images on EyeCandid, you agree with the terms and conditions of EyeCandid that include the term that you cannot delete your images once you upload them to the website.

EyeCandid prohibits the unlawful, defamatory, libelous, offensive, profane, indecent, pornographic, harassing, threatening, hateful, or otherwise unacceptable use of the image. It is prohibited for users to upload images for which they do not own the copyright.

As long as the AI-generated images comply with the Quality Control Guidelines and do not violate the rights of any third parties, you can upload the images.

You can delete your account anytime on the “Setting” page.

If you have sold your image to EyeCandid at least once, we recommend you to send us a cash-out request and receive the payment for any remaining amount on your Financials before you delete the account. Once you delete the account you will not be able to claim the payment in your balance.

All the images uploaded by your account will be deleted from the website and our database except for the images you sold to EyeCandid.

You may submit your images as free images to EyeCandid first, and get them passed by our team within 1~7 business days.

Once your images are published as free images on the EyeCandid website, find those images on the “Sell Images” page. They are now available for sale. You may select the images you want to sell, release them, and agree with our buy-out contract.

If the EyeCandid team decides to buy some or all of your images you send a request for, you will find the results on the ‘Sold’ tab in the “Sell Images” page within 1~2 weeks. For more information, go to ‘How to Sell’.

1. Your images are still under review by the curators: If your images are still being reviewed by the curators, you may not be able to see them in the 'Sold' tab yet. In this case, you may find your images in the 'Under Review' tab on the "Sell Images" page. It means that the review process is still ongoing, and you will need to wait for the curators to complete their review before your images are moved to the 'Sold' tab.

2. Your images were not accepted for purchase: If you do not see your images anywhere on the "Sell Images" page, it's possible that the curators have reviewed your images and decided not to purchase them. It's important to note that the decision to purchase images is at the discretion of the curators, and they may have determined that your images do not meet their criteria for purchase.

Your images may not have been purchased because our curators conduct a thorough review of images requested for purchase, following strict criteria similar to quality control standards. For instance, if you submitted several similar images for sale, only one of them may be purchased. Additionally, our curators assess the quality of focus, lighting, and clarity in the pictures during the review process.

EyeCandid is not a marketplace. We are a free image website. We acquire the rights to use your image directly. And then, you will not be able to sell the usage rights of the same image twice.

Firstly, we do not buy the copyright of your image. The copyright remains completely owned by you. What we purchase is the non-exclusive usage right of your image. Therefore, you are free to upload or sell your images on any other platforms.

No, you do not need to pay any submission fee to participate in our contest. It is entirely free to submit as many images as you want to any of our contests without incurring any prior fees.

You can either click the 'Submit images to the contest' button to upload images or select a contest participation option on the regular upload page. To participate in a contest, you need to upload an image that captures the theme of a specific contest. If you upload an image that you have previously uploaded on EyeCandid, an image for which you do not own the copyright, or the same image to multiple contests, the submitted image will not be considered as a contest entry.

After the submission period for contests is closed, the winning images will be announced 10 days later on the same page where artists submitted their images. Additionally, individual announcement emails will be sent to the winners.

We begin processing the selling requests for the images submitted to a contest after announcing the contest winners, as the winning images need to go through the same selling process to receive their rewards. We provide equal opportunities to all images submitted for a contest once the contest concludes. Once the winning images are determined, we purchase them at the cash prize value and buy the images that didn't win at the regular price. If you upload images without participating in a contest, they will be reviewed according to our regular schedule.

You can request Cash-out once the amount of your balance is over US$10. You will find that the Cash-out button activates when the balance reaches US$10.

The cashed-out amount is transferred into your payment account after the 15th of the following month.

For example, if you withdraw money on April 30th, you will receive the payment after May 15th, which could be on the 16th, 17th, or 18th, depending on working days and holidays.

If you cashed-out on May 14th, you will receive the payment after June 15th, NOT May 15th.

Please be patient and allow us some time to process any tax-related matters and complete the transfer.

We require your Tax Identification Number to comply with international tax regulations. As transactions made abroad are considered income, we are required to withhold and report taxes as per the tax treaty between your country and South Korea. This is necessary to ensure compliance with legal requirements and regulations related to taxation. Without this information, we will not be able to transfer money to your account.

If the taxation regulations of your country utilize a Registration Number, Passport Number, or any other format for identification purposes, you may use that information instead of a Tax Identification Number. It is important to comply with the regulations and methods of taxation identification specific to your country.

We currently only support payments through Paypal. If you do not have a Paypal account, we recommend not to sell your images, as it is the only payment method we can provide at the moment. However, we are actively working on adding more payment methods in the future. Until then, we advise against selling your images to us, unless you have a Paypal account that can receive money from a South Korean account.

After transferring the payment to your Paypal account, we do not have any authority to assist with the withdrawal process. Once the payment has been made, we are unable to intervene in any issues related to Paypal withdrawals. To resolve the issue, we recommend reaching out to Paypal's customer service for assistance.
